Become a Mentor

Mentoring students is a great way to give back to the community. Fortunately, the Wasatch CAPS program attracts dozens of students who are eager to learn, to fail, to try again, and to succeed.

Being a mentor typically involves spending time with Wasatch CAPS students—from just an hour a week to many hours per month. Mentors assist Wasatch CAPS instructors by providing advice and direction for students in the fields of business, marketing, and entrepreneurship, engineering and industrial design, medicine and health, digital design and software development, and environment and agriculture.

The success of the CAPS program heavily depends on the wealth of wisdom and resources that volunteer mentors provide to CAPS students. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please review the Mentor Application Form.

Becoming a partner of the Wasatch CAPS program is easy, and you can help in many ways. Volunteering to be a mentor is a great way to help Wasatch CAPS students gain hands-on skills while learning about different industries.
